The Rural Development Centre Elet (RDC-Elet) is a Kyrgyz Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that aims to assist rural communities in Central Asia with finding their own solutions to poverty alleviation. The NGO was founded in May 2004 by a team of Kyrgyz facilitators that had been working together on the Sustainable Livelihoods for Livestock Producing Communities Project, an initiative funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). Our organisation has an experience of implementing a number of rural development projects funded by the international donor organisations such as DFID, Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO/UN), Asian Development Bank, The Mountain Institute (US based NGO), German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), UNDP and World Bank. Key Services Provided during the projects implementation:

RuralNet Associates Limited was formed in August 1999 with the view to contributing towards the challenge of improving the livelihoods of the society’s disadvantaged, particularly rural population in a sustainable way. As a private development consultancy firm, livelihood and economic empowerment issues relating to both rural and urban populations are RuralNet’s major focus, with a bias towards the rural population.  The firm has virtually worked in all key sectors including; agriculture, environment, health, education, social development, energy, roads, water and sanitation and governance. RuralNet has worked with all major partners: multi-lateral; bi-lateral; international NGOs; government institutions; etc.
